Summary :
- Just want to connect to Terminal Service (RDP or ICA - citrix) - go with Linux
- Connect to a Linux Server - go with Linux.
- Remember if you go with linux you may connect to Linux and Windows Servers both - but if you go with Embedded Windows you cannot connect to Linux Servers.
- Your Application requires EMBEDDED-INTERNET EXPLORER, go to windows XPe.
- Your application requires any embedded browser - you can get Linux with browser enabled.
- Also remember that computing resource requirement for Windows XPe is much higher as compared to Linux.
